Gill came in summer 2007 to add upholstery to her creative talents and began her six week course with a beautiful Victorian salon suite which she covered with stunning silk damask by Lelievre. She completed with a Victorian drop arm sofa covered in Mulberry Flying Ducks. |

In Spring Louise came to retrain in traditional upholstery ready to start a business. She completed a range of projects including a prie-Dieu (French prayer chair), a double drop end sofa and a captain's chair. She is now successfully running her own upholstery business. |

Vien le Wood an award winning textiles graduate from Glasgow School of Art complemented her design skills by learning the techniques of hand crafted traditional upholstery. Her diverse projects included a wing backed chair covered in vintage curtain fabric, finished with hand embroidered detail. |
