Six Week Diploma This programme is aimed at those who want to learn the comprehensive skills required to embark upon complex upholstery projects or who want to receive a training that will equip them to work as a traditional upholsterer. A programme will be tailored to the students needs at the beginning of the training. Students will be encouraged to build up a portfolio of work which will demonstrate the skills and techniques they have learned. On successful completion of the six week course it is a possibility for some to arrange a further work placement in the workshop undertaking commissions for Kendal Upholstery. The aim of this is to consolidate understanding, develop experience and build confidence. |
